What is enjoyable about it? Don’t you get sick, grossed out or tramatized???

(I hate slashers obviously)

I started watching horror at a very young age, so scary flicks hold a nolstalgic feeling for me. I don’t really like gore, but sometimes getting shocked is scary to me, like in the SAW movies. And in The Midnight Meat Train, the blood and gore is all computerized obviously, and it adds a cheesy feel good tone to the movie. I think the goriest movie ever is Cannibal Holocaust. It’s not scary at all; just sick and gross and tramatizing…..this is a movie that is famous just for being notoriously rude and sickening. I love slashers, and most slashers actually don’t have that much gore. Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers movies don’t have very much blood shown on the screen. Not like Saw and Hostel…which are available UNRATED. So….if a movie is RATED, then the gore should be minimal.
