You might be referring to Reaper’s Realm in Hammond, IN. This site has a lot of info on haunted houses including ratings and reviews.

My friend has a really weird fear of haunted houses. He’s 6’5″, but he claims to cry like a baby in the face of fear. I asked him to come to a haunted house with me and my friends, and he said no.

I really want him to come, but he says that his anxiety prevents it. How can I convince him to come with us?

*The haunted houses around here are NOT scary in the least bit.

Well if he has a serious anxiety condition, then there may not be much you can do unless he takes some medication or something for it. But if he is just really scared, keep telling him the house is just filled with paid actors and volunteer workers in makeup! Tell him getting scared is half the fun, but it will be over in 10 minuets and everyone working in the house is just doing their job, but they can’t touch you or anything. Good luck!

If you want to jump on the Salem Pike, spend 20 minutes to run down to Boston, you can try the Hallow Scream Park, 4 Haunted attractions in one, and very scary, worth the drive!

Halloween is here! And my angel and I are trying to see as many haunted houses, sims and places on the Second Life grid.

So far, my favorite place is still The Funhouse by PantzerHamzter Petshop! But I also liked the House of Horrors, too. One was mental horror while the other was classic Halloween icons.

Xavier and I went to The Love Bugg Haunted House. My SL brother Stig had gone there w/ my sister-in-law, Leo. They had a blast… so he sent me an LM.

Sooo fun. What was cool though is that we didn’t have to struggle with navigation. It was basically a teacup ride through horror! Very well done. Try to go soon. There were a lot of avies there!

HAUNTED HOUSE
Haunted Houses

It’s time for Halloween! While the rest of us get ready with costumes, party and events, Second Life sim builders have created several places for us avies to explore.

We went to a few last week and ran into some incredible builds and artwork. All included haunted houses, pumpkin patches, Halloween shopping and music.

Paradise City sim featured House of Horrors, a mesmerizing psy place with cuddle areas for avies. We snuck a kiss in the purple and red bedroom LOL!

At the Pixel Trix sim, we found Octobervile. Then, the Dark Dharma on Dacia provided halloween themed costumes. I liked this one a lot! Very scarey and very cool navigation through the haunted house. At the haunted house for Dark Dharma, we even did a seance listening to very spooky voice of Vincent Price. Ooooooo.

But the very best was at Le Cimetierie, an old build featuring gothic church. We came back to this one twice, taking pictures at the church with both of us hanging from the cross. (shhh… a couple of Catholics being so silly) Notice Xavier praying below me. LOL!

Also, the first party we hit for Halloween theme was at BassLine Junkiez. DJ Doubledown Tandino was spinning a 70′s pimp party. OMG, I never laughed so hard. Everyone sported an afro including me. (I can’t believe we all had the same things in our inventory)

Doubledown spun Super Fly and tunes from Jackie Brown. I had 5 inch platforms and a disco dress while Xavier was dressed quite like a gangster. So fun. One avie sported a full on drug dealer costume LOL!

Halloween is fun. Explore the SL sims and enjoy these fantastic displays of goth, horror and surrealism. Ciao!

How come you hear of haunted houses, haunted clubs, haunted restaurants, and haunted ships. But you never hear of haunted apartments, hospitals, department stores, or even cemeteries, or cars? People die there too.

I’ve heard of haunted cemeteries all the time. And the older hospitals – mostly the ones used for tuberculosis patients – are reputed to be haunted. I’ve also heard of apartments being haunted…if you watch Ghost Hunters, they get called in for stuff like that all the time. Not all of it comes out with great results, but some do and it’s amazing.

Medium had an episode on a haunted car last week, I don’t think it was a real case but I like how it explored the possibility.

As for a department store…yes, people die there, but do they have a reason to still be there? I’ve never heard of a haunted one, maybe because so much is going on there already people can’t pinpoint anything paranormal.

i have heard about the 7 Floors of Hell in Ohio.
im okayy with haunted houses but i can get scared pretty easily sometimes.
and i have heard that it is extremely scary and i have also heard rumors that after certain areas there allowed to touch you and things like that.
but i dont know if any of this is true.

but can anyone who has been there give me there review and what they thought about it?
and any other information they feel like giving.

i think there not true cause they just think the person that died is haunting the house cause the people punished them and that stuff. and if it is real post a real story about a haunted house and i said REAL!
