I like scary things like ghost and poltergeists. Does anyone have anything paranormal happen to them or seen a ghost. And does anyone know some good Ghost Stories or websites I can go to?Thanks
When I first moved in to my apartment I had a touch lamp in my bedroom, one night it started turning on and off by it’s self, i chalked it up to wiring problems so i unplugged it, then i heard a large crash from my daughters room when i went to check her dresser had been up ended, she is two, there is no way she could have moved the heavy wood thing. i took her back to my room and plugged the light back in, for a few min it was fine, as soon as i had my daughter calmed down the light started turning on and off again. than in a very distanced voice my little girl pointed to the light and said “look at the little boy mommy.” after that night the light stopped responding to touch all together. now the only way to turn it on or off is with the switch on the wall.
The activity stopped for a while after that, until one night I was alone in the house. My husband had gone out with his friends and a friend of mine had taken my daughter to a movie, I figured that this would be a grate time to soak in the tub and pamper myself with candles burning and the lights off. I had only been in the tub for few minuets when the handle on the bathroom door started to jiggle like some one was trying to get in. thinking that my husband had come home early I got up and walked into the hall calling my husband’s name. when he was not in the hall I proceeded to search the house calling out to him that I did not think scaring me was funny and expecting him to jump out from around a corner and shout boo. I found no one in my home so I locked to doors and went back to the bathroom, locked that door as well, and returned to my now cold bath. But it seemed the festivities of the night were not over. I drained the tub and hopped in the shower to warm up and finish rinsing off the soap from the bath that was so rudely interrupted. I was rinsing the conditioner from my hair when the shower Curtin was pulled open the snapped back shut, almost like some one was peeking in on me. I figured that my husband had been hiding from me under a bed or something when I searched the house, had gotten in to the bath room and was trying to scare me again. I finished my shower got dressed and went down to my living room to wait for my husband to come out of hiding. My husband did not return home for almost two hours and swears that he had not been home all night and had nothing to do with the strange happenings.
that’s not all! Some nights when I am laying in bed at night and look towards the hall way, I could swear I can see a tall shadow of a man either walking in he hall way or standing in my doorway peeking in. this might be my eyes playing tricks on me in the dark, or so I thought until one night my husband and I were in bed I was reading a book when my husband grabbed my arm and said “did you just see that? I think some one is in the house.” he then proceeded to search the entire house for the person he had seen in the hall way. Now I had never told him about the shadows I see because he does not believe in these things and I had believed it was my eyes playing tricks on me.
The activity seems to kick up the most when we have people over. I had my young cousin living with me over the summer, I allowed her friend to spend the night. The girls wanted to go to Wal-mart to get snacks an a movie. We were gone almost three hours. When we returned home I went up stairs to put away some towels that I had bought on a shelf in the bath room and every thing was fine. About half way through the movie I started to hear what sounded like footsteps in my bed room. I tried to do a bit do debunking claiming it was the neighbors up in their room, but both of our neighbors’ cars were gone and all their lights were, they were not home. A few min later my cuz looks up and says “is it raining out side?” I looked out the window and it was not. But I could hear the sound of rain as well. We looked up only to find that it was not raining out side but in the dinning room! The toilet (witch no one had used in a good 4 hours had over flowed!).
when it comes to neaighbors I am not a verry observant person, the walls are thin and I ccan her their Tvs and stuff often. I was hearing noises coming from their apartment. My husband and cousin could hear things too. Like their toilet flushing in the middle of the night or knocking on the wall. At one point I could hear blasting music so I knocked on the wall as if to ask them to turn it down. All I got in response was the knock being returned and the music continued. Now if there were actually people living there at the time that we heard these sounds that would be normal, unfortunately no one had lived in that apartment for three months while this was going on. I spoke to the people on the other side of the empty apartment and they too were hearing those sounds.
