I’m sorry, but no. … I’m sorry, but no. The slasher was “invented” in 1978 by “Halloween” and had its golden age in the early 80s. Psycho was made 1960 and had its influence on the slasher, but it is not one. Same with TCM, which is actually a backwood-film.

the best slasher … the best slasher movie i have ever seen is dead snow (or DØD SNØ) its funny gore and a bit scary but more gore any other movie i have seen
