@helgenx – I agree …
@helgenx – I agree I can’t stand them. And I think Roger Ebert is such a lol
Siskel and Ebert …
Siskel and Ebert were the two worst movie reviewers in history. They always seemed to like the shittiest movies that only people who hang out at libraries and enjoy a nice night of organizing their drawers and cleaning between cracks on their days off. I am not saying that specifically about this movie, I am just saying in general.
Two typical yuppie fags.
@BrookeBurkeFan All …
@BrookeBurkeFan All the talk about Hooters can only mean one thing. The hotties are only coming to you because they’re hoping you give them tips. Hooters is a business, not a matchmaker.
@237th If I were …
@237th If I were one of the producers, I say “Prove it or I’ll see your in court”.
@braniki1 Siskel …
@braniki1 Siskel and Ebert should have been thankful that the producers didn’t sue for slander but then again the producers of Silent Night Deadly Night probably didn’t give a since they made money off the film.
sometimes I don’t …
sometimes I don’t think siskel and Ebert know what the they are talking about
@qroytpo78 me too
@qroytpo78 me too
I love that movie
I love that movie
What? WOW, No …
What? WOW, No wonder everyone hated these idiots. This movie is a classic and shame on siskel for calling out a filmmaker who put his hard days and work in on trying to make a different kind of horror film, or atleast trying to bring back the black christmas spark. Those 2 would sit on there and watch films while these guys busted theres to make them for US! Disgrace!
GARBAGE DAY
GARBAGE DAY
these two …
these two candy-asses need to get over themselves–the movie was actually not half bad–I especially liked that mean ole Nun from the Orphanage–”I see only greed where there should be gratitude!” while watching the kiddies rush to open their Christmas presents.
The film was bad …
The film was bad but their review is worse.
I’m ok with a Santa Klaus axe murderer.
I’m Ok if the filmmakers made quite a deal of money with the boodiest film ever.
The only problem with this particular film is it was badly made.
The subject itself appealed to me.
These two are not critizing the film honnestly.
Shame on them!

Blood Money!?!?!?? No one was killed for real when making it, dude!
@FloraWest Phantom …
@FloraWest Phantom Of The Opera,.. that didn’t occure to me ! Well, he did wear a mask and he was indeed a homicidal psycho killer.
@Skulldini So true. …
@Skulldini So true. As I said, it was the first of the genre to hit really big (aka: commercial blockbuster). I sure didn’t mean to imply it was the first masked psycho killer movie–probably you could look back to Lon Chaney in “Phantom of the Opera” for that–probably further!
@FloraWest No, …
@FloraWest No, Halloween didn’t invent the masked psycho killer genre,.. it merely popularized it, thats all. There were some earlier films like Blood And Black Lace, The Town That Dreaded Sundown and Alice,.. Sweet Alice ( to name a few ) which did it previously, but none of them were the comercial blockbusters that Halloween was.
Correct me if i’m …
Correct me if i’m wrong but didn’t Roger Ebert write or co-write Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls” a 70′s movie with a transvestite character who called himself “Superwoman” and cut some dudes head off???
@joezam44 But there …
@joezam44 But there was also good cinematography In “Halloween” and the woman was fighting back. Lots of the same ideas but much better execution than virtually all other slasher pictures. Also, wasn’t it really the first of the genre to hit big? So it had the advantage of being somewhat original as well.
Yep, quite an …
Yep, quite an anomaly. What’s funny is that Halloween has all the features they claim to hate about slasher films whereas many of the genre do not (ie primarily women being stalked and killed, shots from the killer’s POV, a male killer with homicidal impulses rooted in sexual problems, etc).
@joezam44 They …
@joezam44 They liked Halloween.
did they ever see …
did they ever see silent night deadly night 2?
