Using a comb or brush made from natural animal hairs is best for combing or brushing. If you have a brush or comb with soft and flexible bristles that is better. Combs or brushes with wide spaced bristles or teeth are best. Avoid combing or brushing when your hair is wet. Wet hair is the most susceptible to being damaged.
You should use warm water when shampooing your hair. Hot water can cause damage. Rinse your hair first prior to applying any shampoo. Then apply the shampoo onto your scalp and gently massage outward. Rinsing completely to remove any residue is very important. Lather only once.
