    @MUFFINproductionsz yea it was countess bathory,she would kill her servents and bathe in their blood.She got caught by inviting s number of guests who she killed.When the village went looking for their friends and families they found some drained already,and a bunch of her dead guests that were at her party.She was hung not too long after the incident

    the real bloody marry was a queen of england who’s name just so happened to be Mary II, she tried to reastablish Catholocism in England after her father banned and started the Anglican Church after the current Pope (Clemet I think?) refused to give him a divorce.
    She was given the nickname by the populace “Bloody Mary” for her reign of absolute terror she unleashed upon the common people, by slaughtering them mercilessly if they did not submit to her ideals.

    The true story is something that she would kill little girls and use them to bathe in to make herself feel beautiful and she never used mirrors so when her husband burried her alive she said she wanted people to say her name in the mirror and she would appear. also if you say her name in the bathtub your supposed to feel a baby bringing you down until you crush.

    This is not a real story and most likely didn’t happen. It’s a legend. If people are getting it confused with anything, it isn’t the vampire from Europe. They may get details such as Mary wanting to hang on to her youth with another figure in history who has been connected to the Bloody Mary legend. Her name is Elizabeth Bathory. A serial killer who bathed in her young victim’s blood to maintain her own beauty. I know her name isn’t Mary but nontheless she is attached to this legend as well.
