Greg was given the same devirginification task as Jesse, except he had a doll instead of a cow. After being instructed to "live out all or your fantasies" some guy decided his ultimate fantasy was to slam the shit out of the flamingo. It was pretty funny, but they stopped it pretty fast as the Tranny Concubines only have a finite supply of inflatable animals to desecrate.

58/365 The Signal

Day 58 of 365

On Friday the 13th I celebrated with a friend and watched the horror movie ‘The Signal’ about an unknown signal that gets sent out over airways effecting TV’s and phones. The Signal makes 1 out of every 2 people crazy…or maybe it just made everyone crazy, it was hard to tell. The movie was broken up into three parts, the first was scary, the second was…stupid and the third was just plain hella confusing.

I’d really like to know in particular where the idea for SAW came from and the more gruesome movies. However, if you know of one (ie. The Amityville Horror etc) that was not as gruesome but has a real backstory, please share.

So far I’ve got Natural Born Killers, The Silence of the Lambs and Dracula.

I think the one that comes to my mind first is ‘In Cold Blood’. There have been a couple of movies based on the actual events, as well as the book written by Truman Capote.

There has also been a movie, which won an Oscar in 2006, about Capote doing the research for writing the book .

They break into a wealthy farmer’s home only to find that there is nearly no money at the home and murder the entire family to avoid identification. Truman Capote wrote the ‘non-fiction novel’ from which the film is drawn, using the novelist’s craft to render reality.
