Horror of The Zombies (The Ghost Galleon)

Jul-27-2010

++ NEW EDITION of a classic European Horror movie – Zombies who like beautiful Models ++

Two models are stranded in a motor cruiser in the middle of the ocean. It’s only meant to be a publicity stunt, a way of stirring up interest in the boat itself; but they soon prove to be in real trouble. They’re set upon by a 16th century galleon enshrouded by a fog. They each board the ghost ship, and each one disappears. Soon, the sporting goods magnate who hired the two girls sets out to find them. He is joined by his conniving right-hand man; the head of the modeling agency; a third model who is a lover to one of the missing girls; and a scientist from the weather bureau who is convinced something supernatural is going on. They all end up on the galleon, where they discover its crew are the undead Satan-worshiping Knights Templar.

What are good horror movies for 12 year old sleepover?

Jul-23-2010

My lil sis is having a sleepover and she asked me to find her a good horror movie to watch. She has seen the ring and is looking for something more scary but not too scary so not rated R, not as much gore , more movies like the ring or the grudge would be appreciated but slightly scarier than those two . When you reply please mention the rating and how scary out of ten it is!

I’d get the Haunted Mansion, with Eddie Murphy. It’s a fun "scary" movie.

How does watching horror movies affect your heart rate?

Jul-19-2010

I’m doing a science project and i could use some help. Are Horror Movies bad for your heart? Do they increase your heart rate? If a doctor answers this question, thankyou verymuch!

the human body responds to real or perceived types of danger. The brain makes the body release large amounts of hormones and biochemicals which results in the increase of adrenaline, (epinephrine). This keeps your blood pressure up and makes your heart beat faster.

What good are horror movies to kids? Would they lack anything if they never watch any of those in their life?

Jul-10-2010

I don’t mind Horror Movies, I just don’t think it’s a basic need.
There’re lots of better ways to entertain yourself and your children. Would I deprive my kids of anything if I never let them see any horror movies in their life? (or at least the first 10 years of their life anyway, before they can sneak out and watch for themselves)

I never allowed my children to watch them. I figure there is enough violence going on everywhere else, they dont need to watch it at home.
I like a good scare myself sometimes..but only after the kids are in bed and I watch the telly in my room.
They will grow up just fine without horror movies.
