So, fast forward about 6 months into me knowing her. I had lived in the same room, and my friends wanted me to bunk with them, so they asked me to move next door. After I left that room, this girl Tina started playing this game with a regular deck of cards. She started asking a "spirit" questions. At first, I really didn’t pay attention or care. I told her she should really stop that because she could invite something into the dorm. Then creepy stuff started to happen.

We would all be chilling in our dorm room, and the radio started changing stations on it’s own. I jokingly said "hey casper, cut the &$*%, I’m trying to study!" Just then, something moved in a locked closet. My friend opened it up and her shoes were moved. I shared a wall with Tina’s dorm.
I thought nothing of it and went to bed. The next morning, my drawers are opened. I grilled all the girls and none of them would fess up.
Time moved along, and Tina started to change. She stopped caring about how she looked, she would skip class, wear dirty clothes, she wouldn’t joke around anymore, she started making funny noises (like grunting), she would pick up nasty cigs off the ground and smoke them. She went through a complete personality change. She started stealing underwear. She started to smell BAD, like a combo of vile smells.
I would go over to Tina’s dorm when she wasn’t there and ask the girls what was going on. They would tell me about raps on the closet doors, stuff moving, funny smells, and one girl told me she was always freezing. I sat in her bed, and indeed there was a very frigid spot. I sat there and prayed in silence for a good fifteen minutes, and the spot went away. The girl sat on the bed and said it "felt better". After I had prayed, some racket went on in one of these locked closets. We opened it up, and a box of Shannon’s from the back was on the floor and eveything was scattered.
A couple of days later, my friends and I were up talking about guys. My friend started crying and said "something is by my closet". We all stayed in our beds and looked. I saw a little hunched thing sitting right outside her closet door. I was shocked.
Then I hear screaming from Tina’s dorm room. I go running in and all my friends are freaking out. They told me "look outside the window". It was winter in the northern part of Wisconsin, and it had just snowed. In the fresh snow, I saw what looked like cow or pig footprints. They were around centered around the two dorm windows.
I told everyone "get in a circle and start praying now". Tina took an aversion to this and actually spit on me. She left the room before we could even start praying. After about 10 minutes of all of us praying, we smelled roses. It was really strong. Everyone said they felt at peace and we all went back to bed.
The girl, Tina, in this story, went to a very real psychiatric hospital called Mendota. From what I understand, her erractic behavior lead her to being committed. I never played with a ouija board, tarot cards, numerology, etc since.

One night I signed on to AOL Instant Messenger and entered a chat room. I started talking to my friends and a new person signed on. This person claimed to know my friend that wasn’t on at the moment, so we continued our chat as usual. He appeared to to be nice to everyone but me. I watched for a while and then asked him where he lived. He wanted to tell me but he didn’t want everyone to know. So I gave him my e-mail address. My computer said. "you got mail". I minimized the chat room screen, and the message said in your house. At first I thought it was a joke so I opened the chat room again and I said yea right. He said i am f**** serious…

For a while I watched the chat room fill up with visitors. While I was staring I thought about what the stranger had said. After my friends signed off, I noticed this guy didn’t. So I asked him his name. He said why don’t you turn around and ask me??? I didn’t understand what he was trying to tell me. I turned around and saw nothing.

I signed off and a few minutes later the phone rang. I answered it. I’m on my way to kill you. it said. I called the police and they said if the person calls again call back and they will trace the call. The phone rang and the voice said why won’t you answer me. I’m the kid you were talking to on aim and I’m a few minutes away from killing you. I called the police back and they said that they would trace the next threatening call. The guy called again saying I’m almost there. The police then called Get out of the house and we’ll be there immediately. The call is coming from a cell phone in your house.

I ran outside and up the street and eventually met the cops. They caught and arrested the guy in my house. Relieved, I went back inside and turned on the news.

Just a mile or so up the street there was a car accident and some cops died. The news said that a criminal had escaped from one of the police cars. "The guy was about 20 or 25 years old, with a light blue shirt and denim jeans. He was seen running towards my neighboorhood." Luckily my parents arrived home right when I turned off the news. I never heard from this stranger again.

well this one day i was in the living room and my moms friend brought me this doll dressed like a clown. i didn’t like it so i put it in a corner facing the wall. that night i went to go see if it was still there and iwhen i went to see it it was facing me!!! so i faced it to the wall again. a while later i went to check on it again and it was gone!!! i was totally freaked out then and was very parinoid. i told my brother and he didn’t belive me so i went in my room. as it was time to go to sleep i went into bed and i heard a voice under the covers saying "hello" i said nothing and the voice said " want to play a game with me?" i said " no just go away" as i was starting to cry. the voice said " don’t cry let’s play a game together that’ll cheer you up." so i fell asleep and then the voice went evil and said" i’ll put you to sleep!!!" so i ran out of the room and i got my brother and he went and got the doll and choopped her up. so the next day i stayed away from my room and all of this started awhile ago like when i was 11 or something and i am 13 now and this is a true story so you better beleive me because if you don’t bad things will happen to you. that’s my story bye.

Sinnui Yauman is without a doubt one of the best Ghost Stories ever made into film. Written by Songling Pu and directed by Siu-Tung Ching, A Chinese Ghost Story has it all. Ling Choi Sin played by Leslie Cheung is a young man down on his luck that goes in search of a monastery for lodging, deep in the woods, a place the villagers seem very afraid to go near. The trek alone is perilous with wolves, and a crazy Taoist monk lives at the temple. Ling Choi Sin meets Tsing, a beautiful and mysterious young girl who also lives nearby in a deserted temple. She is forced to seduce men for her evil mistress, but when she meets innocent Ling Choi Sin they fall in love.
Ling Choi Sin is sort of a bumbling fool but his heart is in the right place, while Tsing tries to protect him from the other spirits in the woods, he tries to protect her from the monk who is trying to kill the spirits in the woods. There’s great martial arts, even a monk that breaks out into drunken song as he performs ritual Taoist sword forms. The movie does a lot of traditional old martial art films acrobatics, with magic and flying through the air, leaping from tree to tree, with elegant long gowns and scarves, but the movie genuinely flows, and everything is effective.
Tsing is to be married to an evil tree monster, which can’t be good, and we feel her plight in her home where we meet her sisters and stepmother who is truly not nice. In the end they must fight a tree witch with a deadly tongue, and go with Yin deep into the heart of to fight a thousand year old evil to save their souls, and bring Ling’s ashes back to her home for a proper burial so she may have a chance at reincarnation.
A beautiful story that truly pays attention to details. One is touched in many ways by this movie; you’ll laugh, cry, and just have fun with the great martial arts and cinematography. And though at the end, Yin and Ling Choi Sin ride off into the morning sun under an enchanting rainbow, we never know if Tsing was afforded a reincarnation, but we do know her.

Edit: Burak, yeah, he created it, but he also says over and over throughout the old and new testament to not practice witchcraft (or wizardry depending on version of the bible), and not to contact spirits. Just because something exists and God created it, doesn’t mean we should play with it. Remember the story of Eve and the Apple?

Inteleyes: I just want to point out, that the Bible does not say its a sin for spirits to contact you, just for you to actively seek them. This is not a loophole, but just the way it is. God needs to be able to communicate to us through angels and spirits, but he knows if we actively seek them we are vulnerable to be victimized by fallen angels.
